| Does anyone even do xanga any more? Is it buried six feet under, replaced by America's newest craze....facebook? Oh well, perhaps I shall write in case a solitary soul should stumble across this. There have been some hard times behind me, but God has brought me through, and has been faithful the whole time. Things are going to be crazy this coming week, especially musically
Next week:
Repertoire...4:30 in Rudd on Wed, December 7 (everyone come! I'm singing "The Prayer" with Rebecca and an aria from Handel's Messiah....if you love me, come).
Dress rehearsal on Thursday
Chorale concert on Friday....in which i have another solo to stress over
Chorale concert Saturday
After that, finals in Ear Training, Sightsinging and Music Theory await me, among others.
BUT BUT BUT!!!! I think i would rather be busy and have an exciting, full, and vibrant life than have a boring one. I'm a man of action, of doing, and that is exactly what these next couple weeks will consist of...action. I can do it! I think that will be all for now...leave comments if this post strikes your fancy!
| For those of you who were wondering (if any of you were wondering), I am indeed single and available!!!! There is no subtle message or propoganda in this proclamation.....it is something that several people have asked me about and I thought I might as well announce it in cyberland. I hope everyone has a good night. | | |

--I suppose I feel a little more rested today. I also feel like I have a big day in front of me, with little or no energy or incentive to do anything. Well, no one ever said getting out of bed was easy, right?
--We should not view each day as being good or bad. We are told in the Bible that God has predetermined the good works that He has for us each day. Is that not cool? Before our birth, God knew who He wanted us to minister to and who should minister to us as each day passes. Be open to those opportunities today. Listen carefully, because sometimes God speaks softly...
| If only I could be lucid enough and awake enough to write something profound....however, I am finished with contemplation for the day, and am going to bed! Ya? | | |

--Last night = amazing. A bunch of us went to see the opening of the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra (CSO) at the beautiful Tivoli theater. It was wonderful to enjoy a night of Tchaikovsky and Brahms, as well as spending time with friends. It made me miss New York City, which is the ultimate in concerts, operas, and Broadway, but last night was nevertheless a very classy night.
--Today, I slept in late, made easy Mac (compliments of Stephanie) and went to the girls' soccer game. Tonight, I'm trying out the local Mexican joint, Aiola's. Perhaps I'll catch some of you there. I also would really like to sample Smith's down the road. I'm in the mood for some good coffee, but I'm also in the mood for a good car, which I do not have. Alas, one can't have everything in life.
